I'm a photographer who believes family photos don't have to be a total drag.
I've been adventuring pretty much my whole life, and I've found the best way to bring back memories is through photos.
I spent most of my youth hiking and biking wild places. From the deserts and caves of New Mexico, to the canyons and arches of Southern Utah, to the Redwoods and beaches of California, I've carried some of my favorite views and memories. Time on the road with my parents and grandparents connected me not just to them, but to the places we visited.
so began my lifelong obsession...
With the outdoors, trails, mountains, streams, and rivers. All of it. Wherever I could find natural beauty, I wanted to see it and experience it. And more than that, I wanted to be able to take it home with me. So my grandpa (a photographer) gave me a camera and I've never looked back.
fast forward a few decades and now i get to spend time photographing down-to-earth, adventurous families.
Whether we are making pizza in the kitchen, or hiking the Narrows in Zion National Park, I love being able to capture your family as you naturally are. No stiff poses. No awkward hugs. Let's just have fun.
I believe that at the end of the day, what matters is the time we get with the people we love. Which is why my sessions focus on your connection above all else.
