Ever since I can remember I've been adventuring. From the New Mexico backcountry to the Redwood forests of Northern California, I haven't found a better way to bring memories home with me than through photographs.

Hey Friends. We went to Canada! Little Jane had never met her grandma and she was over 18 months old, so we knew it was time to go up. Traveling with kids is a learned art form that I am apparently still perfecting. Aside from a few airport mishaps our trip was perfect. Canada is just wonderful in the summer in large part due to the fact that it doesn’t get dark until 10pm. It was pretty great being able to put the kids to bed and then go out mountain biking, golfing, or eating poutine at A&W.

Evan got to go camping for the first time ever! We went to Bow Valley Provincial Park. Unfortunately, because of the fires in B.C., Banff was totally engulfed in smoke and haze, we even had ashes falling on us at the campsite. Jane and I ended up in a hotel in Canmore.

Highlights of the trip: seeing the bison near grandma and grandpa’s house, playing with puppies, riding the boat and train at Heritage Park, Royal Tyrell dinosaur museum, camping, A&W, Tim Horton’s, and lots and lots of family time!
